The United Arab Emirates national airline, Etihad Airways, has announced its destination management pision, Hala Abu Dhabi, signed a deal offering preferencial rates as part of the “Stopping over in Abu Dhabi” program for six Vietnamese travel firms.

The six travel firms include Vietravel, PTG Travel, Blue Sky Travel, Hong Ngoc Ha, GiaHuy and Transviet.

The program will allow tourists from Vietnam and other countries to change schedule in Abu Dhabi and enjoy special preferences on overnight stays, free visas and golfing promotions before stopping at their final destination.

Peter Baumgartner, Chief Commercial Officer of Etihad Airways said that the airline is happy to cooperate with the leading Vietnamese travel firms to create success for the “Stopping over in Abu Dhabi” program. The travel firms have recently been successful in selling tickets for Etihad Airways and have earned the concessions.

The deal is among 45 agreements signed by Hala Abu Dhabi with major travel agencies in America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Australia helping to expand the coverage of Etihad Airways and the “Stopping over in Abu Dhabi” program as well./.
