MU 1, FC Copenhagen 0: MU went through 30 minutes of extra-time before eventually defeating
According to Man Utd, the quarter-final was a tense affair, with the Reds having two goals ruled out for offside and being forced to play 30 minutes of extra-time before eventually defeating the Danish outfit 1-0 with a penalty by Bruno Fernandes, following a foul on Anthony Martial in the area.

United will return to the same venue, Stadion Koln, for Sunday's semi-final. Kick-off will be at 20:00 BST and the opponents will be either Sevilla or Wolverhampton Wanderers, who lock horns in Duisburg on Tuesday night.

United have recent history with both clubs. We have already played Wolves four times this season, with both Premier League meetings ending in draws and the Reds winning in the third round of the Emirates FA Cup after a replay at Old Trafford.
The Reds last met Sevilla in 2017/18 when the Spanish outfit knocked us out of the Champions League's last-16 over two legs.

Inter Milan 2, Bayer Leverkusen 1: Lukaku pushes Inter Milan to UEFA Europa League semifinals
Inter Milan advanced into the Europa League semifinals after defeating Bayer Leverkusen, 2-1, on Monday. The Italian side was carrying the momentum from an impressive round of 16 match against Getafe, and their aggressive offensive attack did not slow down during their quarterfinal, CBS Sports reported.
Despite not having the majority of possession, the Inter Milan did have more offensive looks on goal with 18 total shots (seven on goal) to Leverkusen's nine. Inter's Romelu Lukaku remained a threat in this match, scoring the game winner - it's his 31st goal of the season in all competitions, his highest career total.

Bayer Leverkusen, meanwhile, held the majority of the possession throughout the game, but the German side was unable to overcome the aggressive attack from Milan. After going down two goals in less than 10 minutes in the first half, the team responded thanks to Kai Havertz, who got a goal back in the 24th minute. It would be the only goal on the day for Leverkusen and Inter continued to look lethal the entire match, including potential penalty opportunities that were overturned with VAR.
Inter Milan will face the winner of Shakhtar vs Basel in next week's semifinals.
Fierce competition for the two last spots in the semi-finals
Wolverhampton Wanderers FC will take on Sevilla FC in the Europa League quarterfinals on Tuesday.

Wolves: The English side is entering this match after struggling to connect on goal outside of a penalty kick in their last round of 16 match. However, Wolves have a favorable match up against Spanish sides in general this season, including a 6-3 aggregate win against Espanyol earlier in the Europa season. The team struggled to generate a goal in the run of play in their last Europa League match against Olympiacos, relying on a penalty kick conversion from striker Raul Jimenez.
Sevilla: The team finds itself on the impressive side of one-off round of 16 match against Roma, pressing high in their attack and being stingy on defense, and coming away with a 2-0 win. Sevilla finds themselves once again in a Europa League quarterfinal for the sixth time, and is a round where they have typically have success.
Wolves have experience in cooling off hot teams, but have struggled to generate offense, while Sevilla is coming in with a ton of momentum. Pick: Sevilla 2, Wolves 1.
At the same time, Shakhtar Donetsk will take on Basel in the quarter-finals of the Europa League on Tuesday night, with both sides eyeing a spot in the semi-finals of the competition.
The one-off game will be held at Arena AufSchalke in Gelsenkirchen, and the winner will take on either Inter Milan or Bayer Leverkusen in the final four on August 16.
According to Sports Mole, Shakhtar will be without the services of Davit Khocholava due to the red card that the 27-year-old picked up against Wolfsburg last time out, meaning that Serhii Bolbat could earn a start at the back.
It could otherwise be the same XI that started on August 5, though, with Junior Moraes, who netted twice in the last-16 second leg, once again leading the line.
Brazilians Taison, Alan Patrick and Marcos Antonio should also all keep their positions in the XI, meaning that Yevhen Konoplyanka might have to accept a spot on the bench once again.
As for Basel, Eray Comert is banned due to the booking that he picked up against Frankfurt, while Jonas Omlin, Ramires and Luca Zuffi are all on the sidelines through injury.
Jasper van der Werff could come into the back four as Comert's replacement, but former Premier League striker Ricky van Wolfswinkel is likely to start on the bench once again.
Brazilian attacker Arthur Cabral is likely to lead Basel's line on Tuesday night, with Taulant Xhaka and Fabian Frei lining up in the middle of the park.
Shakhtar Donetsk possible starting lineup:
Pyatov; Dodo, Kryvtsov, Matviyenko, Bolbat; Antonio, Stepanenko; Marlos, Patrick, Taison; Junior Moraes
Basel possible starting lineup:
Nikolic; Widmer, Van Der Werff, Alderete, Petretta; Xhaka, Frei; Stocker, Campo, Pululu; Cabral
Pick: Shakhtar Donetsk 2-1 Basel
This is a fascinating match as both sides will be full of confidence following impressive results in the round of 16. Shakhtar are so dangerous going forward, though, and we just fancy the Ukrainian outfit to edge what should be an entertaining encounter in Gelsenkirchen.
