The Korean non-governmental organization Good Neighbors in Vietnam (GNI) has just held a ceremony to establish and support VND 77 million loan to develop production for Vikawa Trade and Service Cooperative in Vinh Loc district.
The main products of the cooperative are purified drinking water in 19L bottles, 500ml bottles and 350ml bottles which have passed QC06/BYT standard for safe drinking-water.
Since 2019, with the support of Korea Institute of Ceramics Engineering and Technology (KICET), GNI has conducted water quality testing and drilled wells in Ninh Khang commune.

In 2021, GNI and Ninh Khang Commune Project Management Board established a cooperative to produce and supply quality drinking water products to local people.
In that spirit, GNI and the local government of Ninh Khang commune on Aug. 4 held a ceremony to officially open Vikawa Trading & Service Cooperative. Vikawa stands for Vinh Khang Water - the old name of Ninh Khang commune now.
Also in this ceremony, GNI gave the cooperative a loan of VND 77 million. With this support, GNI hopes that the cooperative will boost production, thereby contributing to increasing income for members and improving quality of life.
In the near future, the cooperative will supply to the market its main product - pure drinking water in 19L bottles, 500ml bottles and 350ml bottles.
