Ha Giang, situated in the far north of Vietnam captivates tourists thanks to its magnificent rocky plateaus, winding passes, picturesque terraced fields, and especially spellbinding buckwheat flower fields, Travelmag reported.

In November annually, Tam giac mach (buckwheat flowers) burst into full bloom in valleys and hill slopes adorning already beauty of Ha Giang.

The beauty of tiny, white and pastel-pink buckwheat flowers take the visitors’ breath away at the first sight. Although the flowers are small, they have strong vitality. In the arid rocky areas, they still thrive and gloriously bloom.

Sung La valley, Ma Pi Leng Pass, Quan Ba, Xin Man, Pho Cao, Ma Le are among the ideal destinations to admire the blooming buckwheat flowers.

This year, the annual buckwheat flower festival will be organized at the Dong Van Stadium starting November 28. The festival, featuring a marathon, photo contest, along with culinary and art programs, aims to promote the distinctive cultures of H’mong and Thai ethnic minorities and honor the value of buckwheat, a local staple grain.
