Korea Travel Festa 2024 is a program within the framework of promoting "Korea Tourism Year 2023-2024" with many interesting activities. More than 40 booths of units from Vietnam and Korea brought unique experiences to visitors.

The booths were divided into diverse themes. Tourism units from Korea included Korean Destinations, Local Tourism Bureau, Korean large enterprises, and K-tourism Start-up, introducing Korean destinations and providing information about Korean tourism.

Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA), Korean Culture Center (KCC), and Korea Copyright Protection Agency (KCOPA) also organized activities such as trying on Hanbok, playing Tuho traditional games, and coloring, among others.

At the Korean Tour Corner booths, airlines such as Vietnam Airlines, Korean Air, T'way Air, and Lotte Rent-a-car, visitors received many attractive incentives and discounts on Korean tours with themes such as K-drama Tracking Tour, Cycling Tour, Cruise Tour, and Carnival Tour.

Highlights at the Korea Travel Festa 2024 were the multimedia art booth, Korean K-drama experience booth, and K-pop Korean music experience booth. The multimedia art booth was where people could immerse themselves in the space of projection technology. K-drama brought them to the space of three famous Korean dramas and other activities such as taking instant Korean photos and checking in with the movie scenes. The K-pop booth was a place to recreate music videos and authentic K-pop experiences such as experiencing the Zling dancing machine and K-pop Random Dance.

Another highlight of the activities in the festa is the exciting performances of the K-pop and V-pop stars, including the 4-member group Highlight with hit songs like Fiction and Beautiful Night.

The Highlight band expressed their excitement at returning to Vietnam and hoped to have more promotional activities in Vietnam in the future, and meet more Vietnamese fans.

Talented dance group 1Million with choreographer Lia Kim - a famous choreographer of Korean music groups brought beautiful performances to the event. The program also had the participation of other Vietnamese artists.

In 2023, Korea welcomed 420,000 Vietnamese tourists. There were over 3.6 million Koreans chose Vietnam as their travel destination. Korea remains the largest international market for Vietnam and Vietnam is the 5th Korea's biggest international tourist market. In Southeast Asia, Vietnam is the leading country in the number of tourists to Korea. In the first 4 months of 2024, Korea welcomed more than 167,000 Vietnamese visitors, an increase of 32.6% over the same period in 2023.

"In the future, we plan to promote content related to Korea in the Vietnamese market by developing diverse tourism products and conducting unique marketing activities,” Lee Hak Ju, KTO Deputy Director General, said.
