Medipeace Vietnam has cooperated with the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Gio Linh district to visit and donate electric wheelchairs to three students with disabilities in the area.
Despite the difficult circumstances, the students all strive to rise up in studying. The electric wheelchairs are expected to help the students ease their difficulties in daily activities and at school; creating incentives for them to mingle with friends.
The wheelchairs are being given as part of a project sponsored by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), implemented by Medipeace in the province from 2012 to the present.
