Organized by the local administration and the Charity Fund from the Readers of Macao Daily News, the event drew over 50,000 participants. The overseas Vietnamese were the only foreign community involved, showcasing Vietnam’s heritage to local residents and Macau’s diverse workforce.
Duong Trung Duc, President of the Vietnamese People Association in Macau, stated that the Vietnamese community has enthusiastically participated in activities organized by the local administration, including fundraisers, cultural parades, and international cuisine festivals, to strengthen cross-cultural bonds.
As of December 7, organizations, corporations, and individuals in Macau have raised more than 17 million MOP (2.1 million USD) to support the underprivileged and vulnerable members of society.
