Vietnam is being hailed as an effective anti-COVID-19 nation. The tourism industry is slowly recovering among domestic tourists and preparing to get ready for international visitors. From the northern mountains to the Ca Mau river, the topography of the S-shaped strip of land is diverse.
According to Andrew Faulk, central Vietnam is rich in history and culture, with the ancient capital of Hue, the modern city of Da Nang, Nha Trang will be ideal destinations recommended for tourists.
These pictures below are among his most favorites, which were taken during his trip in Vietnam in 2018. “I really want to get back to central Vietnam to embrace its beauty and experience its culture once again”, Faulk wrote.
In the photo is a boat running in the Perfume river, the winding river in the ancient capital of Hue.

An old lady sitting at the façade of her house, in the scenery of the central village. This photo is Faulk’s most favorite one, which depicts the openness and friendliness of the central people.
"During the short meeting, I was allowed to visit their house and take pictures of her. She is one of the most beautiful souls I have ever met," he said.
Besides beaches, lagoons or modern cities, the idyllic rural beauty and hospitable people are always the typical attraction of Vietnam.

An elderly woman with a benevolent face, selling goods in Hoi An market. Andrew shared that if he returned to Vietnam again, he would spend time on the outskirts of Hoi An. Here, he can walk through lush rice fields, chat with locals, explore the ruins of My Son Sanctuary, the temple complex built by the Champa kingdom in the middle of the 4th century - 14.
