The website released the Expat Insider 2021 Survey launched by InterNations, an expat community organization, to find the best locations for those looking to live and work abroad.

Based on the information given by more than 12,000 respondents globally, the survey is one of the most extensive pieces of research done on uncovering the truth about the lifestyle of expats around the world. The study covers the views of expats on their satisfaction with their quality of life, the ease in which they settled into their location, their working life, personal finance, and the cost of living in their respective countries of residence, reported by VOV.

According to details of the survey, Vietnam comes in 10th on the list.

The article produced by Euronews states that Vietnam represents an ideal spot for ex-pats looking to save money while enjoying a nice lifestyle.

“The beaches, delicious food, and fascinating culture makes it a great spot for anyone looking to try something new,” states the article.

Additionally, the respondents shared about how they have been experiencing the COVID-19 pandemic and how it has impacted their lives, according to NhanDan.

Vietnam also does well in the Working Abroad Index (9th), with the vast majority of expats (86%) expressing overall job satisfaction.

Taiwan tops the list thanks to its colourful night markets, free WiFi across its largest cities, and outstanding vegetarian-friendly cuisine, reported by VOV.

“It’s also home to one of the best healthcare systems in the world and an obsession with Hello Kitty, we’re talking themed restaurants, cartoon-clad aeroplanes and even branded beer,” Euronews noted.

Rounding off the top 10 best destinations are Canada, Ecuador, Australia, New Zealand, Portugal, Malaysia, Costa Rica, and Mexico.
