Communist Review delegation visits and works with the Communist Party of India (CPI). |
During the visit, the delegation of the Communist Review met and worked with Pallab Sengupta, Secretary in charge of External Affairs of the Communist Party of India (CPI), and Arun Kumar, Member of the Central Committee, Head of the External Affairs Committee of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPI-M).
During meetings, they informed each other about the situation of their Parties and countries. They discussed cooperation between the CPV and the CPI and CPI-M, as well as measures to promote relations between the two sides, especially in political theory and propaganda. They also exchanged viewpoints on regional and global issues of mutual concern.
Le Hai Binh expressed his appreciation of the role and position of the CPI and CPI-M in India. He looked to strengthen the relationship between the CPV and the two Indian parties and suggested that the two sides continue to enhance coordination and support each other at multilateral forums, as well as promote information exchange, political theory and propaganda cooperation, and experience exchange, for the development and interests of the two peoples.
The leaders of the CPI and CPI-M affirmed their appreciation towards the traditional friendship and good cooperation with the CPV. They highly appreciated the achievements that Vietnam has made in recent times under the leadership of the CPV, especially in poverty reduction and social security policies, which have significantly contributed to enhancing the country's role and position.
