However, Vietnamese people in the Czech have united and support each other to surmount the difficulties as well as join with the frontline forces in the host country to fight Covid-19.

According to the President of the Youth and Student Association in the Czech Republic Nguyen Dieu Linh, she along with translator Nguyen Quyet Tien and some Vietnamese youngsters established the “group against Covid-19 in Czech” which includes Vietnamese doctors, intellectuals, and interpreters proficient in Czech.

The group has supported and advised the community on experience on epidemic prevention and control as well as directly assisted Covid-19 patients in complying with the medical workers’ guidance.

Through the Facebook page, there were days that the group aided nearly 100 Covid-19 cases.

In addition, Vietnamese doctors in the group actively connect with their colleagues to share information, learn patients’ conditions to give appropriate treatment counseling, especially psychological reassurance for patients and their families.

In the time ahead, the group plans to support the community in Covid-19 vaccination.
