Blooming peach blossoms adorns the already stunning beauty of Phin Ho village.
Phin Ho, located at an altitude of more than 2,000 m, is the second-highest village (after Trung Chai) in the Y Ty commune, Bat Xat district, about 80 km west of Sa Pa town.

Phin Ho village has 78 households with more than 400 people. A highlight in the village is that each family grows peach blossoms around the “Trình tường” house for selling. Even several families grow flowers on the entire hills.

Peach blossoms show off their beauty at the foot of Lao Than mountain which is located at an altitude of 2,860 m and considered a paradise for cloud hunting. The head of village Vang A Ho (26 years old, H'Mong ethnic person) said that citizens had settled in Phin Ho before the 1990s and planted many ancient peach trees. Most peach trees are over 30 years old.

A Ho said that the climate on Phin Ho is foggy and cold all year round. Therefore, peach trunks are covered by a lot of mosses and lichens. Each beautiful peach branch is priced at 1-3 million VND (US$ 43-US$ 130).

Vang A Lenh is carrying firewood amidst the magnificent background of peach blossoms. He said that residents here often grow potatoes, wet rice and cardamom.

Ly Thi Sua, 5 years old, an H'Mong ethnic girl is climbing on a peach tree in front of her house after feeding her pigs. Phin Ho is equipped with electricity and water; however, the lives of people here are still difficult.

The peach blossom season often lasts for two weeks. Peach fruits are then harvested and sold in the summer. Apart from admiring peach blossoms, visitors to Phin Ho can buy local specialties as gifts for friends and relatives.
According to A Ho, tourism in Phin Ho has not developed. The place is only visited by photography enthusiasts, backpackers, and peach blossoms purchasers.
