According to the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control, of 45 new patients, there are 33 cases at the Da Nang Hospital, 4 cases at the Da Nang Lung Hospital, 2 cases at Da Nang Cancer Hospital, 4 cases at the hotel for hemodialysis patients of Da Nang Hospital, 2 cases at Cam Le Medical Center, Da Nang.
The Ministry of Health claimed that all 45 new patients had been discovered while being isolated at medical facilities.

Da Nang set up "special unit to combat COVID-19"

World Bank provided US $ 6.2 million in aid to assist Vietnam combating Covid-19 epidemic
On July 30, The World Bank and the State Bank of Vietnam signed a non-refundable aid agreement worth more than US $ 6.2 million to help Vietnam quickly respond to the Covid-19 epidemic.
The agreement aims at strengthening the capacity of Covid-19 surveillance and testing, vaccine research, and the Covid-19 test suite, as well as communication in the pandemic situation, reported by Zing News.
"The situation of the Covid-19 pandemic in Vietnam is progressing rapidly," said Ms. Stefanie Stallmeister, Country Director for the World Bank in Vietnam.
The grant will also be used to procure and supply equipment to improve the capacity of the Vaccine Research and Production Center for Medical Biological Products (POLYVAC). The project will support about 200 laboratories participating in surveillance and testing of Covid-19 at provincial hospitals and disease control centers nationwide.
