11 continuous days recording no community infection
The 6 am news on September 13 of the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 prevention and control stated that Vietnam has no new cases. Today is the 11th day that Vietnam has not recorded cases of COVID-19 in the community. Medical facilities have cured 910 COVID-19 patients.
The number of cases in Vietnam as of 6 o'clock on September 13 was 691 cases of COVID-19 due to domestic infections, of which the number of new cases from July 25 to now is 551 cases. Notably, 73 cases have no clinical manifestations. The total number of people under health monitoring (quarantine) is 36,299.
Among COVID-19 patients currently being treated in health facilities, 16 cases have their fist-time negative test for SARS-Cov-2, 17 cases have 2 negative tests and 21 cases have three.
100-year-old patient successfully cured
On the morning of September 12, Quang Nam Central General Hospital organized the announcement of cure and discharge of patient no. 592, a 100-year-old woman, living in Duy Trung commune, Duy Xuyen district, Quang Nam province, CAND cited.
This is the oldest COVID-19 patient in Vietnam. She was taken to Quang Nam Central General Hospital for treatment from August 1 with a diagnosis of severe pneumonia caused by SARS-CoV-2, with septicemia from the gastrointestinal tract, heart failure; respiratory failure. She was re-positive with COVID-19 for many times.
After a long time of care and treatment by the doctors at Quang Nam Central General Hospital, the patient no. 592 was cured and discharged from the hospital, along with 4 other patients in Quang Nam province.

HCMC prepares 27 hotels for self-paid isolation
On September 12, according to the Ho Chi Minh City Health Department, in addition to the existing concentrated isolation areas, the city is preparing 27 more hotels to accept immigrants, experts coming to self-paid quarantine, Vietnam Plus cited.
These are hotels that wish to apply for quarantine and are assessed by the city Center for Disease Control, district health centers, and ensure safety criteria. Regarding the quarantine fee, Mr. Nguyen Tan Binh said that he was waiting for the Ministry of Finance to guide the fee rates for the city's central isolating centers and the isolating areas managed by the Army.
Particularly for hotels, the fee will apply based on the available room rate of the hotel. Customers who need isolation facilities will actively select and register hotels in accordance with the price and demand.
Another 350 Vietnamese are safely brought home from the US
On September 10 and 11, Vietnamese authorities, Vietnamese representations in the United States, Vietnam Airlines cooperated with US authorities to bring nearly 350 Vietnamese people to return to their home safely.
Passengers on the mentioned flight come from different states in the United States, including children under the age of 18, the elderly, the sick, travelers who are stranded, and international students who have completed their study program, and other particularly difficult circumstances.
After landing at Van Don airport, the flight participants immediately went under medical supervision and concentrated isolation in accordance with regulations.
