Therefore, the Party Committee and People's Committee of the Commune held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Ut Nghi Bridge (VK280 Bridge) in Dong Binh hamlet, Dong Phuoc commune.
This is one of the key projects of the locality, creating favorable conditions for people to travel and exchange goods. We thank the VK group for participating in the campaign to build bridges, contributing to the successful implementation of the locality's proposed socio-cultural-economic development plan."

According to Nguyen Thi Yen Thu, Deputy Head of VK Group, in 19 years of operation, the group has constructed and put into use 279 friendship bridges with a total length of more than 7,500 meters. The total value of the works is more than VND 43 billion, in which, VK group self-advocates and sponsors about 50% of the bridge construction cost.
Phan Thi Sach is a Vietnamese living in the US, who sponsors the construction of the VK 280 bridge. Although her whole family lives in the US, she returns to Vietnam every year to visit relatives and friends and participate in public works.
"This year, I returned to the country to celebrate Tet and joined the VK group to build a rural transport bridge. I plan to return to the US in early March.
I am very happy to be able to contribute a part of my efforts to the homeland. My grandchildren in the US said that they will save their lucky money to return to Vietnam in the summer with their parents to build a bridge. I am very happy that my second and third generations have inherited my volunteer work in Vietnam”, said Phan Thi Sach.
