The event opened many opportunities for Vietnamese students studying and researching in South Korea to share knowledge and experience in academics and scientific research, building a community of scientists abroad – high-quality human resources for the development of the country.

This is also where Vietnamese employers can exchange recruitment information with potential candidates.
With the topic "Connecting passion, sparking creativity", the event has given scientists who share the same field of research the opportunity to exchange and discuss knowledge. Young scientists can connect, share information, documents and research experiences in related fields and expand interdisciplinary and interdisciplinary research cooperation.
According to the organizing committee, the annual event covers 6 topics, namely information technology and computing, materials technology, energy and environment; biotechnology, mechanical engineering; social sciences and humanities and management and economics. Another special topic added this year was semiconductor Technology.
About 40 speeches related to the above fields were presented at the conference and 6 best presenters were selected.

Also, nearly 100 applications were received for the Young Vietnamese Scientist Award in South Korea. Among them, 5 outstanding young scientists selected by the Scientific Council and honored at the conference. They are Nguyen An Thien of Soongsil University (information technology, digital transformation and automation), Phan Tan Ngoc Lan from the Korea Institute of Science and Technology KAIST (new materials technology), Dao Tan Phat from Soongsil University (biotechnology), Nguyen Cong Hau, Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (environmental technology) and Le Thi Anh Dao, Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (medical technology).
Another highlight of the conference was the seminar themed "Vietnamese students in Korea and the path of choice". The seminar aimed to help Vietnamese students in Korea gain the suitable perspective in deciding to choose a career path in the future, especially in the golden period of cooperation between the two countries.
