Accordingly, the “President Ho Chi Minh – Life and Career” is also held in implementation of Directive 05-CT/TW on enhancing the movement “Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's thought, morals and lifestyle", under the collaboration of The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site.

The event saw the participation of over 30 scientists, researchers, managers, representatives of ministries and branches, and former leaders and officers of the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site.

At the seminar, the delegates recalled the glorious revolutionary tradition of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV), as well as the revolutionary career and great contribution of President Ho Chi Minh to our Party and our revolution.

44 scientific reports presented at the event not only reaffirmed the great role of President Ho Chi Minh in the development and victories of Vietnam’s revolution, but also contributed to promoting the movement “Studying and following President Ho Chi Minh's thoughts , morals and lifestyle” in the new period.

Some speeches clarified the social and political context in Vietnam when President Ho Chi Minh left the country to find the way to save the nation, as well as the process of his absorbing and creatively applying Marxism – Leninism into Vietnam. They also reviewed his effort to establish and train the CPV, along with his building of the armed forces, preparation for the August Revolution, according to Public Security.

Besides, a seminar held by The Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics (HCMA) and the Party Committee of central Nghe An province on the President was also held in Hanoi on Friday.

Accordingly, the seminar heard Tran Quoc Vuong, Politburo member and permanent member of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat, highlighted the path for national salvation found by President Ho Chi Minh. Under the leadership of the President and the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV), the national revolution has overcome a range of difficulties and challenges to gain various victories, Nhan Dan online reported.

Vo Van Thuong, Politburo member, Secretary of the CPV Central Committee and head of the CPV Central Committee’s Communications and Education Commission, urged each official and Party member to make greater efforts to serve the nation and people as reminded by the late leader.

HCMA Director Nguyen Xuan Thang said President Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morality and lifestyle is the valuable guidance for the Vietnamese Party, army and people to surpass difficulties and challenges. He stressed the significance of enhancing the studying and following of the President’s though, morality and lifestyle in Party building and rectification.

The seminar, which saw the participation of more than 300 leaders, managers and scientists, looked into President Ho Chi Minh’s life and career, as well as his great contributions to Vietnam’s revolutionary cause and communist, worker and national liberation movements in the world.

President Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morality and lifestyle has become huge, valuable heritage of the Vietnamese Party and people, which will light up the CPV’s revolutionary cause forever, the delegates said.

On this occasion, they proposed orientations, tasks and solutions in socio-economic development, Party and political system building and national defence in line with the leader’s thought.
