Several provinces allow students get back to school next week

Compared to the schedule announced 1 week ago, 14 provinces and cities adjusted the time for students to go back to school to February 22 instead of the end of February or not yet determined as specified in previous announcements.
Accordingly, students in Bac Giang can return to school on February 22, as Covid-19 pandemic conditions in the province are basically under control. As for the Luc Nam Boarding School for Ethnic Minority Affairs, where the positive Covid-19 case was reported, students can return from March 1. The Department of Education and Training of Bac Giang province has issued a written request for schools to actively arrange teaching plans, ensuring that the content and program ensuring the payroll for the 2020-2021 school year. Schools must also ensure fully safe conditions for students when returning to school.
In Ha Giang, the provincial People's Committee urgently informed schools in the area about the return time of students after the Lunar New Year. Accordingly, students in Ha Giang can go back to school from February 22.

Lao Cai province allowed high school students to return to school from February 22 but kindergartens continued to close until February 28. The Department of Education and Training requires schools to strictly implement preventive measures, sanitation, disinfection before letting students get back to school. In addition, schools must coordinate with parents to manage, monitor, and grasp the daily health situation of students while at school or at home.
In Thai Binh, the students of grade 9, grade 12, high school, and students of the national gifted team, grade 11 of Thai Binh High School for the Gifted, will return school from February 22, in guaranteed anti-COVID study rooms.
After a break to prevent and control the Covid-19 pandemic, students in Kon Tum province will return to school from February 22. Before that, due to the complicated development of the Covid-19, after the Lunar New Year holiday, Kon Tum province stopped allowing students to return to school. Students are required to study online and study at home with the initially scheduled vacation last until the end of February.

Students in Bac Lieu province will also return to school from February 22. Students of vocational schools and universities will be allowed to get back to schools by schools' principals. The province also noted that the specific returning time can be changed depending on the situation of the Covid-19 epidemic.
Students in Tra Vinh will start the offline study on February 22. The provincial Department of Education and Training requires schools to arrange medical staff for health checks of all teachers, students, school staff.
In addition to the above-mentioned provinces, some other provinces and cities also re-scheduled school returning to February 22, including Lai Chau, Ninh Binh, Binh Duong, An Giang ...
Meanwhile, some provinces such as Bac Ninh, Ha Nam, Hoa Binh, Binh Phuoc have decided to extend the school leave until February 28 instead of 21 as announced previously. Some other provinces keep their previous announcement of letting students getting back to school on February 28 or until further notice, including Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Duong, Bac Ninh, Dong Nai, Tay Ninh, Binh Dinh, Phu Yen, Gia Lai, Hung Yen, Long An, Son La, Thai Nguyen, Tuyen Quang, Vinh Phuc, Ha Nam, Hoa Binh.
