At the reception, Nga affirmed her determination in her lawsuit against 14 companies that supplied Agent Orange during the war in Vietnam. Even though on August 22, the Paris Court of Appeals ruled to reject her lawsuit, she will continue to send the file to the Supreme Court. For Nga, the fight for justice is not only for her personally but also for millions of other Vietnamese victims.

Nga expressed her sincere thanks to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for supporting and accompanying her to speak up and make legitimate demands of Agent Orange victims. She hoped to receive further assistance from the authorities in her lawsuit, and at the same time promote information and propaganda to further raise awareness of the people in the country about the struggle to find justice for Vietnamese agent orange/dioxin victims.
Deputy Foreign Minister Le Thi Thu Hang highly appreciated Nga's perseverance and courage throughout her time pursuing the lawsuit to seek justice for the victims of Agent Orange/dioxin. Her efforts and dedication are an example of the tireless fight for peace and justice for the victims and their families who are struggling every day, every hour with the pain caused by the after-effects of Agent Orange.
According to Deputy Foreign Minister Hang, although the war ended, its severe consequences still impact profoundly on the country and people of Vietnam, including the long-term and serious consequences of Agent Orange/dioxin. She affirmed that on the arduous journey to seek justice for the victims of Agent Orange/dioxin, Nga and her partners will always receive the companion and support from the homeland. The Deputy Foreign Minister also believes that the overseas Vietnamese community and international friends always support her and the victims of Agent Orange/dioxin.
Also at the reception, Deputy Foreign Minister Le Thi Thu Hang acknowledged some proposals made by Russia and requested units of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to discuss with agencies to find solutions.
