Vietnamese in Poland Raise Fund to Aid Mini Apartment Blaze's Victims
The representative of the Vietnamese Community in Poland on September 22 presented the amount of VND 153 million (USD 6.200) to support the victims of the recent mini apartment fire in Hanoi's Thanh Xuan district.
According to Tran Anh Tuan, chairman of the Vietnamese Association in Poland, when heard about the the tragic fire in a mini apartment in Thanh Xuan district, which claimed the lives of 56 people and injured 37, the Vietnamese Association in Poland called on the community to donate to support the victims.

Through the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese Affairs, the association wishes to transfer the money to the Fatherland Front of Thanh Xuan district.
"The money is the sentiment of Vietnamese people in Poland who share the losses of the families of the victims in the fire and hope that their lives will soon be restored," Tuan said.
Nguyen Minh Tien, permanent deputy secretary of Thanh Xuan District Party Committee, on behalf of the Government, Thanh Xuan District Fatherland Front, and the fire victims, thanked the hearts and sharing of the Vietnamese community in Ba Lan. At the same time, he affirmed that through the district Fatherland Front, the donation sum will soon reach the victims.
According to Tien, recently, the Fatherland Front of Thanh Xuan district has also received contributions of support from people across the country and people abroad. Under the direction of Hanoi's leaders, Thanh Xuan district has also actively supported and developed a plan to support immediate and long-term post-fire victim families to help victim families gradually stabilize their lives.
