The ceremony witnessed the participation of the representatives of the Vietnamese Embassy in Laos, representatives of the Vietnamese Association in Vientiane, representatives of a number of Vietnamese businesses in Laos, and many Vietnamese people who are working and living in this country, Vietnam News Agency reported.

According to the organizational board, the tournament aimed to improve health as well as create a healthy environment contributing to strengthening the solidarity between Vietnamese youngsters in Laos. Simultaneously, the tournament also raised funds for the deaf, blind, and disabled children in the capital city of Vientiane.
The football tournaments attracted participation from 9 teams belonging to businesses and sports clubs in the Vietnamese community in Laos.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, the representative of the Vietnamese Embassy in Laos said that after nearly a month of competition, with the enthusiastic, noble, and solidary spirit, the teams brought perfect performances for the audiences.
